So it’s Christmas morning. Santa Claus has come and the Pressies are opened. (In our house, we have to wait till 3pm because Mum is working till then!!) Then you remember the crucial thing.

Batteries

Nothing sucks more than the realisation that you have forgotten the most crucial element of all electronics – Power. I’ve already done a post about the benefits of powering down your work computers yesterday.

So unless you have got a renewable wind powered/solar powered generator for the christmas season, it  is safe to say, you will be mildly screwed until the stores open again tomorrow. Though some of the stores – Petrols stations etc are bound to be open for a couple of hours this morning.  Please don’t follow the lead of some Genius in the UK who figures he can power his iPod from Onions and Lucozade. I will not endorse the hacking of an iPod connection to prove his theory.

What I will endorse though is lots of family time fun. :-) Enjoy. Get out the Board Games and Relax while the Turkey gets cooked.

Happy Christmas to all and enjoy the day.
